Is residential property in Gurgaon cheap?

'Is residential property in Gurgaon cheap?' asked my uncle from Sydney the day previous to my departure for Calcutta.  As a matter of fact, this is a primary concern for anyone looking for residential property in the Delhi NCR region.  The sexagenarian widower, who has been abroad for long, needed to be briefed on the matter by me, an employee with the State Government and a permanent resident of Gurgaon.  More so, I have been a minor player in the Gurgaon property deals, though mostly as an amateur. Hence I am armed with information sufficient enough to strike the right deal.

Residential property in Gurgaon fall mainly under two segments.  In the first place, it is the segment which houses corporate clients and other upper class clientele.  The residential property in this segment is not cheap.  The luxury flats, deluxe apartments, condominiums, villas, etc. with five star amenities come in this class and they cost excessively higher than their counterparts of the same dimensions in the segment which houses the middle class.  A demographic analysis has revealed that nearly 70% of the citizenry live in average middle class residences and in that category the property price is comparatively cheap.

If you are looking for any residential property in Gurgaon which may be somewhat cheap, you need to have proper knowledge of the residential locations.  You can adopt two methods.  First, you can consult a few reliable property consultants and real estate dealers in the locality and can collect the necessary information and can arrive at an independent decision of your own.  That would be the ideal course because there may be unethical players who may misguide you for their own benefits.  Therefore, it is always advisable to consult a good number of property dealers and consultants in the region and glean the necessary data.

Visit yourself some sites and assess the relative merits including the location, the landscape, the neighborhood, surrounding amenities, proximity to educational institutions, religious places, access to public roads, etc.  Make a comparative chart of these amenities and merits of a few short-listed premises/plots.  Make a self analysis with your family members and friends and if possible with an independent consultant. Finally make your own choice and strike the deal.  First of all, you should collect sufficient information online about Gurgaon properties.
